SUPPORT EB ORPHANS
Who We Are
EB Promise is an iniative to advocate for and support orphans living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a devastating skin disorder that causes the skin to blister or slough off at the slightest touch.
What We Do
EB Promise advocates for EB orphans and supports their caregivers and prospective families through the process of adoption. We advocate for specific children who are waiting for their forever families, provide education for caregivers, ensure that all EB orphans have access to proper bandaging, and more.
EB children are often referred to "Butterfly Children" because their skin is as fragile as a butterfly's wings.
What is EB?
Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB, is a genetic skin disorder that causes the skin to blister or slough off at the slightest touch. Everyday things like wearing clothes, brushing teeth and eating solid foods can cause people with EB a great deal of pain. Learn more about EB here, and meet our EB Butterflies here.
